Rental Rules 

  • Fuel is NOT included with motorized rentals.  

  • Life jackets and safety gear are INCLUDED with all rentals.

  • A 6% PA Sales tax is added to rental prices

  • A valid credit card and state identification card are required for rentals.

  • The rental agreement must be signed by one person that is 18 years of age or older.

  • Children 12 and under along with weak and non-swimmers must wear a PFD at all times.

  • No swimming or diving from watercraft at any time.

  • No cooking or fire of any kind is allowed on board.

  • No alcohol, narcotics, or smoking allowed on board at any time.

  • No docking the craft at any dock except for our designated docking area.

  • No beaching watercraft on any shore. Stay 100 feet from shorelines at all times.

  • Watercraft persons and weight capacity limits must be strictly adhered to.

  • Only the users issued the boat are allowed to use the same. Switching users or passengers is not allowed.

  • You must stay at least 100 feet away from the park’s designated swimming area.

  • Approach bridge very slowly and make sure bimini top fits under before continuing.

  • Be cautious and courteous to other boaters.

  • When returning, approach dock slowly being careful not to hit the dock, using reverse to slow down.

  • Follow Park Service and                                at all times.

  • Check your watercraft before use. Any damage to watercraft must be paid for when boat is returned.

  • All of our boats are pup friendly. A $15 fee will be charged per dog, max of 2 dogs per boat.

  • Reservations are highly recommended but not required for boat rental. Full payments are required for reservations, and no refunds will be given within twenty-four hours of the scheduled rental time. 

  • PA law requires that renters of boats with motors larger than 25 hp born after 1/1/1982 present a PA Boater Certification or take a Temporary Exam.

  • Any person that did not receive our required on-boat checklist may not operate the craft.

  • You must have a fishing license to fish if you are 16 years of age or older.

  • We reserve the right to revoke your boating privileges for violations of the above at any time, without warning or refund.
